Why A Flat Earth Sometimes IS
If you are anything like me, you have been feeling a little weird for the past year, things aren’t quite the same, and the things that you used to love, you no longer cherish. I feel like the perplexities of AI and its rapid advancement have me questioning our very existence. I love science, but I can see how science has become a religion in itself, one that cannot be questioned. I see the usual rotation of posts on my Facebook science groups and how silly flat earthers are, but this type of silly thinking is what originally led to the advancement of science and the discovery of a round earth. When did we stop accepting abstract ideas that do not follow the established precepts of science? Is this not the reason science critics religion so harshly?
In this article, I am letting you know of the possibility of a flat earth by simply imagining a universe with an earth which is now flat. You’re not going to do away with your imagination, are ya? Put away the annotated bibliography that you were just gonna snap out at me, and instead start thinking about what it is that you want the world to be. If you’re just going to recycle someone elses’ garbage you may as well check out this example, an article by BigThink where they discuss three simple experiments to prove the earth is a sphere. By the end of the article, you’ll have had three paths to create a flat earth.
A recent article by Phys.org, here, regarding a 3 time and 1 space dimension manifold got me intrigued in this very concept of a flat earth. Let us imagine a world in where all of us are an NPC in some board, DnD is a great example of this. The three-time dimensions could be represented by the actual players in the superficial world. Us the individual in the flat earth, we would be represented by the singular spacial dimension. To us the world is still rendered in 3D, and everything seems normal, therefore you’re not going to find any ambiguities in terms of physics. However, the three spacial dimensions are happening superluminally, or at the very least faster than us, the singular spacial dimension player. It would be no trivial thing to then catch up to those other superluminal players, because they are going faster than you to begin with.
So, if we have the example of a human or even a NPC experiencing 3 space and 1 time dimensions, then we can also logically surmise that the flat earth is just a compactified version of that very existence, where the 3 space cylinders are trunctuated into a 2 dimensional space. If you wanted to explore this deeper, you may stop using nomenclature like compactification and begin using my eddificial domains of colloquiated spacetimes. I won’t go over this new paradigm quite so quickly, as I would appreciate if you first delve into the rest of the singularities.
I want to challenge everybody that reads this article, to go into their learning adventure with a critical mindset but think outside of the box of the information that is presented. With QM, it’s often the case that reading one specific subject or genre at a time leads to gibberish, because the information is not encoded within the individual subject. To read the book properly you need to collectively read many pages or explore many genres at once. My flat earth experience comes from being a back seat player to my life for a long time. Now I’m here to tell you, making earth flat can be fun, but if it’s not something that helps you in the long run- maybe just remove matter altogether.
